Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Greed for more and more distracted you [from God] 1 until you visit the graves. 2 Nay! you shall soon know, 3 But you will soon come to know. 4 Nay, if you could but understand [it] with an understanding [born] of certainty, 5 You should most certainly have seen the hell; 6 again, you shall most certainly end up seeing it with absolute certainty. 7 Then, on that day, ye will be asked concerning pleasure. 8

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
