Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

The mutual rivalry for piling up of worldly things diverts you, 1 Until ye come to the graves. 2 But nay, ye soon shall know (the reality). 3 Again, yes certainly, you will soon realise! 4 Indeed, did you know with certain knowledge 5 you shall surely see Hell; 6 and you will see it with your own eyes. 7 Then, on that day, you will surely be questioned regarding the favours. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
