Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

The excessive gathering (of increase and boasting) occupied you (from worshipping and obeying) 1 until you reach your graves. 2 No indeed; but soon you shall know. 3 Nay! Nay! you shall soon know. 4 Indeed, did you know with certain knowledge 5 You will be shown hell 6 Then you will see it with the eye of certainty. 7 Then on that day you shall most certainly be questioned about the boons. 8

God the Almighty always says the truth.
