The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

Woe to every slanderer and backbiter. 1 Who amasseth wealth; and counteth it. 2 thinking his riches have made him immortal! 3 No! He will surely be thrown into the Crusher. 4 And what do you know what the Crusher is? 5 It is a fierce fire created by God 6 Reaching right into the hearts of men, 7 Verily, it shall be closed in on them, 8 In pillars stretched forth. 9

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
