The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
Woe unto every slandering traducer, 1 Who amasses wealth and considers it a provision (against mishap); 2 Does he think that his wealth will prolong his stay on earth forever? 3 Nay, he shall be thrown into the Crusher. 4 And what have you understood what the Crushing One is! 5 Fire of Allah, Kindled, 6 Which rises above the hearts. 7 Surely it shall be closed over upon them, 8 In extended columns. 9
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
