The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Ruin is for every open slanderer, backbiter. 1 Who hath gathered wealth (of this world) and arranged it. 2 thinking his wealth will render him immortal! 3 No indeed; he shall be thrust into the Crusher; 4 How will you comprehend what Hutama is? 5 (It is) the fire of Allah, kindled, 6 Which leapeth up over the hearts (of men). 7 Indeed it will be shut over them. 8 in extended columns. 9
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
