The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Woe unto every slandering traducer, 1 Who has gathered wealth and counted it, 2 thinking that his property will make him live forever. 3 By no means! He shall surely be cast into the crushing torment. 4 And what do you know what the Crusher is? 5 It is a fierce fire created by God 6 Reaching right into the hearts of men, 7 closed around them 8 In extended columns. 9

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

There are memorization exercises for the original Arabic and English transliterated Arabic modes only. The English translation mode has no memorization exercises.

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
