The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

WOE unto every slanderer, fault-finder! 1 Who amasses wealth and hordes it. 2 He thinks that his wealth will make him last forever! 3 By no means! He will be sure to be thrown into That which Breaks to Pieces, 4 and what shall teach thee what is the Crusher; 5 It is a fierce fire created by God 6 Which leapeth up over the hearts (of men). 7 Verily it will close in upon them, 8 In extending columns. 9

God the Almighty always says the truth.
