The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

WOE unto every slanderer, fault-finder! 1 Who amasses wealth and hordes it. 2 Does he think that his wealth will prolong his stay on earth forever? 3 By no means. He will be thrown into Hutama. 4 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Consuming One is! 5 A fire kindled by God, 6 which shall oversee the hearts, 7 It shall be made into a vault over them, 8 in outstretched columns. 9

God the Almighty always says the truth.
