The Elephant (Al-Feel)
5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon) before Daybreak (Al-Falaq)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Have you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) not seen how your Lord dealt with the Owners of the Elephant? [The elephant army which came from Yemen under the command of Abrahah Al-Ashram intending to destroy the Ka'bah at Makkah]. 1 Did He not make their plan go wrong, 2 And sent hordes of chargers flying against them, 3 Striking them with stones of hard clay, 4 And made them like green crops devoured (by cattle)? 5
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
