The Elephant (Al-Feel)
5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon) before Daybreak (Al-Falaq)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
O dear Prophet (Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), did you not see how did your Lord deal with the People of the Elephant? 1 Did He not make their treacherous plan go astray? 2 And send down (to prey) upon them birds in flocks, 3 which showered them with small pebbles of clay 4 Thus He made them like stubble cropped by cattle? 5
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
