1/2 Hizb 7

O you who have believed, do not consume usury, doubled and multiplied, but fear Allah that you may be successful. 130 And save yourselves from the fire which is prepared for disbelievers. 131 And obey Allah and the Apostle, that you may be shown mercy. 132 ۞ And vie with one another for your Lord's forgiveness and for a Paradise as vast as the heavens and the earth, which has been prepared for the God-fearing, 133 who spend [in His way] in time of plenty and in time of hardship, and hold in check their anger, and pardon their fellow-men because God loves the doers of good; 134 And those who, when they commit an immorality or wrong themselves [by transgression], remember Allah and seek forgiveness for their sins - and who can forgive sins except Allah? - and [who] do not persist in what they have done while they know. 135 For such the reward is forgiveness from their Lord, and Gardens beneath which rivers flow abiding in it forever; what an excellent reward for the performers (of good deeds)! 136 There have been examples before you. Journey in the land and see what was the fate of the liars. 137 this [should be] a clear lesson unto all men, and a guidance and an admonition unto the God-conscious. 138 And do not become faint of heart, nor grieve, you will have the upper hand, if you are believers, 139 If you have been wounded they too have suffered a wound. We cause this alternation of night and day in the affairs of men so that God may know those who believe, taking some as witness (of truth) from your ranks, for God does not like those who are unjust. 140 And that Allah may purge those who believe and destroy the infidels. 141 Do you think you will go to Paradise while God does not know who among you strive and persist? 142 You had wished to know death before you faced it (in battle); so now you have seen it before your own eyes. 143
