Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Have you seen him who denies the Recompense? 1 Such is the one who repulses the orphans away, 2 And encourages not the feeding of the indigent. 3 Woe, then, unto those praying ones 4 Who are unmindful of their prayers, 5 who show off (his good deeds) 6 and deny people the articles of common necessity. 7
