Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

Have you seen he who belied the Recompense? 1 Then such is the (man) who repulses the orphan (with harshness), 2 And does not urge (others) to feed the poor. 3 Woe to those who pray 4 [But] who are heedless of their prayer - 5 Who would be seen (at worship) 6 And withhold things of common use (from others). 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
