Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Just look at him, who belies the religion! 1 It is he who turns down the orphans 2 And urgeth not the feeding of the needy. 3 Ah, woe unto worshippers 4 but are heedless in their Prayers, 5 Those who (want but) to be seen (of men), 6 And do not let others ask for small utilities. 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
