HAST THOU ever considered [the kind of man] who gives the lie to all moral law? 1 It is he who turns away the orphan 2 and urges not the feeding of the needy. 3 So ruin is to those offerers of prayer – 4 Who are neglectful of their prayers, 5 Those who make a display (of their deeds). 6 and prevent the utensils of assistance. 7
