Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

HAST THOU ever considered [the kind of man] who gives the lie to all moral law? 1 Behold, it is this [kind of man] that thrusts the orphan away, 2 And does not urge to feed the needy. 3 So woe to the worshippers 4 but are heedless in their Prayers, 5 Who would be seen (at worship) 6 and, withal, deny all assistance [to their fellow-men]! 7

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
