Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Did you see him who gives the lie to the Reward and Punishment of the Hereafter? 1 It is he who pusheth away the orphan, 2 And does not urge (others) to feed the poor. 3 So woe to the praying ones, 4 whose hearts from their prayer are remote 5 Those who do things only to be seen by others. 6 and refuse to help the needy. 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
