Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

HAST THOU ever considered [the kind of man] who gives the lie to all moral law? 1 It is he who pushes the orphan away, 2 and urges not the feeding of the needy. 3 Woe to those who pray 4 and are heedless of their prayers, 5 Those who (want but) to be seen (of men), 6 and refuse charity. 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
