Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

Have you seen he who belied the Recompense? 1 Then such is the (man) who repulses the orphan (with harshness), 2 and urges not the feeding of the needy. 3 So ruin is to those offerers of prayer – 4 and are heedless of their prayers, 5 Those who make a display (of their deeds). 6 and, withal, deny all assistance [to their fellow-men]! 7

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
