Charity (Al-Maa'oon)
7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Beholdest thou him who belieth the Requital? 1 That is the one who treats the orphan with harshness, 2 And does not urge to feed the needy. 3 So woe to those who pray 4 who are heedless of their prayers (delaying them from their prescribed times), 5 who show off, 6 and prevent the utensils of assistance. 7
True are the words of God the Almighty.
