Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Hast thou observed him who belieth religion? 1 That is he who repulses the orphan 2 and urges not the feeding of the needy. 3 So woe unto those performers of Salat (prayers) (hypocrites), 4 whose hearts from their prayer are remote 5 Those who (want but) to be seen (of men), 6 and refuse charity. 7
