Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Have you seen him who denies the Recompense? 1 Then such is the (man) who repulses the orphan (with harshness), 2 and feels no urge to feed the needy. 3 So woe to those who pray 4 But who are oblivious of their moral duties, 5 who show off (his good deeds) 6 And withhold the necessaries of life. 7

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
