Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

May the hands of Abu Lahab perish, may he be ruined. 1 His wealth and his children (etc.) will not benefit him! 2 he shall roast at a Flaming Fire, 3 And so will his wife; carrying a bundle of firewood on her head. 4 with a rope of twisted fibre round her neck. 5

Almighty Allah's Truth.
