Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

The power of Abu Lahab will perish, and he will perish. 1 His property and worldly gains will be of no help to him. 2 He will be plunged in flaming Fire, 3 And so will his wife; carrying a bundle of firewood on her head. 4 upon her neck shall be a rope of palm-fibre. 5

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
