Thorns (Al-Masad)
5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
May both the hands of Abu Lahab be destroyed – and they are destroyed! 1 His property and worldly gains will be of no help to him. 2 Surely, he will be cast into a Flaming Fire 3 And his wife [as well] - the carrier of firewood. 4 with a rope of twisted fibre round her neck. 5
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
