Thorns (Al-Masad)
5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
May the hands of Abu Lahab be ruined, and ruined is he. 1 His substance availed him not, nor that which he earned. 2 He will be burnt in a Fire of blazing flames! 3 together with his wife, that carrier of evil tales, 4 Will have upon her neck a halter of palm-fibre. 5
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
