Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

Perish the two hands of Abu Lahab (an uncle of the Prophet), and perish he! 1 His wealth did not avail him, nor his acquisitions. 2 He shall soon enter a Blazing Fire, 3 along with his wife, that carrier of slanderous tales; 4 Will have a strap of fibre rope around her neck. 5

Almighty Allah's Truth.
