Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

May the hands of Abu Lahab perish! May he too perish! 1 His wealth and what he earns will not avail him. 2 He shall soon enter a Blazing Fire, 3 And his wife also: the firewood carrier; 4 Around her neck will be a rope of palm fibre. 5

Almighty God's Truth.
