Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

Destroyed were the hands of Abu Lahab, and he lay utterly doomed. 1 His wealth and what he earns will not avail him. 2 He will suffer in a blazing fire 3 together with his wife, that carrier of evil tales, 4 shall have a rope of palmfiber around her neck! 5

Almighty Allah's Truth.
