In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
May the hands of Abu Lahab be ruined, and ruined is he. 1 Neither his wealth nor his gains will avail him. 2 [In the life to come] he shall have to endure a fire fiercely glowing; 3 And his wife also: the firewood carrier; 4 with a rope of twisted fibre round her neck. 5
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
