Daybreak (Al-Falaq)
5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Elephant (Al-Feel) before People (Al-Naas)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Say: I seek refuge with the Lord of the Dawn 1 From the evil of what He has created, 2 "And from the evil of the darkening (night) as it comes with its darkness; (or the moon as it sets or goes away). 3 “And from the evil of the witches who blow into knots.” 4 And from the mischief of the envious one as he practises envy. 5
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
