Daybreak (Al-Falaq)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Elephant (Al-Feel) before People (Al-Naas)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

Say: "I seek refuge with (Allah) the Lord of the daybreak, 1 From the evil of what He has created, 2 And the evil of evening darkness when it overspreads, 3 From the evil of sorceresses who blow incantations on knots, 4 From the evil of the envier when he envies. 5

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
