O Children of Israel! Remember My favour wherewith I favoured you, and fulfil your (part of the) covenant, I shall fulfil My (part of the) covenant, and fear Me. 40 And believe in the message I have sent down which fulfils that [predictions about the last prophet in their Scripture] which you already possess and do not be foremost among those who deny its truth. Do not sell My revelations for a paltry price; fear Me alone. 41 And cover not Truth with falsehood, nor conceal the Truth when ye know (what it is). 42 Attend to your prayers, give the zakat [prescribed alms] and bow down with those who bow down. 43 ۞ Do you order righteousness of the people and forget yourselves while you recite the Scripture? Then will you not reason? 44 Find strength in fortitude and prayer, which is heavy and exacting but for those who are humble and meek, 45 Who bear in mind the certainty that they are to meet their Lord, and that they are to return to Him. 46
