Al-Baqarah 5 of 40

Children of Israel! remember My favour wherewith I favoured you, and fulfil My covenant, and I shall fulfil your covenant, and Me alone shall ye dread. 40 Believe in that which I have [now] bestowed from on high, confirming the truth already in your possession, and be not foremost among those who deny its truth; and do not barter away My messages for a trifling gain; and of Me, of Me be conscious 41 And do not overlay the truth with falsehood, and do not knowingly suppress the truth; 42 And establish prayer and give zakah and bow with those who bow [in worship and obedience]. 43 ۞ How is it that you enjoin others to follow the Right Way, but forget it yourselves, though you read the Scriptures? Have you no sense at all? 44 Seek help with patience and prayer; this is indeed an exacting discipline, but not to the humble, 45 who are certain of their meeting with their Lord and their return to Him. 46
