Al-Baqarah 5 of 40

O Children of Israel! Remember My Favour which I bestowed upon you, and fulfill (your obligations to) My Covenant (with you) so that I fulfill (My Obligations to) your covenant (with Me), and fear none but Me. 40 And accept faith in what I have sent down (the Qur’an), which confirms what is with you (the Torah / Bible), and do not be the first to disbelieve in it – and do not exchange My verses for an abject – and fear Me alone. 41 Confound not truth with falsehood, nor knowingly conceal the truth. 42 And be steadfast in prayer; practise regular charity; and bow down your heads with those who bow down (in worship). 43 ۞ Enjoin ye righteousness upon mankind while ye yourselves forget (to practise it)? And ye are readers of the Scripture! Have ye then no sense? 44 Seek you help in patience and prayer, for grievous it is, save to the humble 45 Who know that they have to meet their Lord, and that it is to Him they are to return. 46
