Al-Baqarah 5 of 40

O children of Israel! call to mind My favor which I bestowed on you and be faithful to (your) covenant with Me, I will fulfill (My) covenant with you; and of Me, Me alone, should you be afraid. 40 And believe in that I have sent down, confirming that which is with you, and be not the first to disbelieve in it. And sell not My signs for a little price; and fear you Me. 41 Do not mix truth with falsehood, or hide the truth when you know it. 42 And establish prayer and give zakah and bow with those who bow [in worship and obedience]. 43 ۞ Do you bid other people to be pious, the while you forget your own selves - and yet you recite the divine writ? Will you not, then, use your reason?! 44 And seek help in patience and prayer; and truly it is hard except for those who prostrate before Me with sincerity. 45 Who are conscious that they have to meet their Lord, and to Him they have to return. 46
