We have indeed sent down the true Book towards you (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), so that you may judge between men, in the way Allah may show you; and do not plead on behalf of the treacherous. 105 And seek the Forgiveness of Allah, certainly, Allah is Ever Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. 106 Contend not on behalf of such as betray their own souls; for Allah loveth not one given to perfidy and crime: 107 They may hide (Their crimes) from men, but they cannot hide (Them) from Allah, seeing that He is in their midst when they plot by night, in words that He cannot approve: And Allah Doth compass round all that they do. 108 You pleaded on their behalf in this worldly life but who will plead with Allah on their behalf on the Day of Resurrection, or who will be their defender there? 109 And whoever does evil or acts unjustly to his soul, then asks forgiveness of Allah, he shall find Allah Forgiving, Merciful. 110 Whoso committeth sin committeth it only against himself. Allah is ever Knower, Wise. 111 He who commits a mistake or iniquity and ascribes it to one who is innocent, is guilty of calumny and brazen sin. 112
