We have sent down to thee the Book in truth, that thou mightest judge between men, as guided by Allah: so be not (used) as an advocate by those who betray their trust; 105 And seek the Forgiveness of Allah, certainly, Allah is Ever Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. 106 And do not argue on behalf of those who betray themselves, surely, Allah does not love the sinful traitor. 107 They hide themselves from men and do not hide themselves from Allah, and He is with them when they meditate by night words which please Him not, and Allah encompasses what they do. 108 Behold! you are they who (may) plead for them in this world's life, but who will plead for them with Allah on the resurrection day, or who shall be their protector? 109 If any one does evil or wrongs his own soul but afterwards seeks Allah's forgiveness, he will find Allah Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful. 110 And whoever commits a sin, he only commits it against his own soul; and Allah is Knowing, Wise. 111 One who makes a mistake or commits a sin and ascribes it to an innocent person, he only burdens himself with slander and a grave sin. 112
