Lo! We reveal unto thee the Scripture with the truth, that thou mayst judge between mankind by that which Allah showeth thee. And be not thou a pleader for the treacherous; 105 And seek God's forgiveness, for God is surely forgiving and kind. 106 And do not plead on behalf of those who are dishonest to themselves. Surely God does not love one who is treacherous and sinful. 107 They hide from men and do not hide from Allah, whereas Allah is with them when they plan in their hearts that which displeases Him; and Allah has their deeds encompassed. 108 Well, you are those who pleaded for them in the life of this world; but who will plead for them on the Day of Resurrection or be their security? 109 One who commits a sin or does wrong to himself and then seeks forgiveness from God, will find God All-forgiving and All-merciful. 110 for he who commits a sin, commits it only to his own hurt; and God is indeed all-knowing, wise. 111 And whosoever earns a fault or a sin and then casts it upon the innocent, thereby has laid upon himself calumny and manifest sin. 112
