The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 Who creates, then makes complete, 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 then caused it to wither away. 5 We shall now make you read (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), so you will not forget. 6 Except what Allah wills; indeed He knows all the evident and all the concealed. 7 And We shall make easy unto thee the easy way. 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 The reminder will be received by him who fears (Allah), 10 but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch 11 Who will enter the Great Fire, 12 in which he will neither die nor live therein. 13 Surely he will succeed who grows in goodness, 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
