۞ AND [there came a time when] We inspired Moses thus: "Go forth with My servants by night: for, behold, you will be pursued!" 52 So Firaun sent gatherers into the cities. 53 [And said], "Indeed, those are but a small band, 54 "And verily, they have done what has enraged us; 55 But we are a numerous host, ever on guard." 56 and so we have [rightly] driven them out of [their] gardens and springs, 57 and treasures and a noble station; 58 even so, and We bequeathed them upon the Children of Israel. 59 At sunrise, they followed them. 60 and, when the two hosts sighted each other, the companions of Moses said, 'We are overtaken!' 61 'No, indeed' he replied, 'my Lord is with me and He will guide me' 62 Then We bade Moses strike the sea with his staff. And it parted, and each part was like a huge mountain. 63 And We brought near, there, the others. 64 and We delivered Moses and his companions, all of them, 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 67 And yet, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace! 68
