Did you (O Muhammad SAW) observe him who turned away (from Islam). 33 and gives a little, and then grudgingly? 34 Has he the knowledge of the unseen so that he can see? 35 Or, has he not been told of that which is in the Scrolls of Moses 36 And of Ibrahim who faithfully fulfilled? 37 That no soul shall bear another's burden, 38 And that for man shall be naught save that wherefor he endeavoureth. 39 and that [the fruit of] his striving shall soon be seen; 40 Then shall he be rewarded for it with the fullest reward- 41 and that with thy Sustainer is the beginning and the end [of all that exists]; 42 It is He who causes laughter and weeping. 43 And that it is He Who gave death and gave life? 44 and that He Himself created the two kinds, male and female, 45 from an ejaculated drop (of sperm), 46 and that upon Him rests the second growth, 47 that He it is Who bestowed wealth and riches, 48 And that He is the Lord of the Sirius; 49 And that it is He Who earlier destroyed the tribe of Aad? 50 and Thamood, sparing no one, 51 and before them the nation of Noah, they exceeded in evil and were insolent. 52 He plunged the villages 53 and covered them with torment. 54 Then which of thy Lord's bounties disputest thou? 55 He (Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) is a Herald of Warning, like the former Heralds of Warning. 56 The threatened Hour is nigh. 57 There is no one to unveil it apart from God. 58 Do you, perchance, find this tiding strange? 59 And keep laughing and do not weep, 60 Will you occupy yourselves simply in merriment? 61 So prostrate to Allah and worship [Him]. ۩ 62
