Alshu'araa' 6 of 11

The people of Nooh denied the Noble Messengers. 105 Behold, their brother Noah said to them: "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 106 “I am indeed a trustworthy Noble Messenger of Allah to you.” 107 “Therefore fear Allah, and obey me.” 108 And I do not ask you for it any payment. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds. 109 so fear you God, and obey you me.' 110 ۞ They said: Shall we believe in you while the meanest follow you? 111 He said: "And what do I know as to what they do? 112 Their reckoning is upon my Lord, if ye but knew. 113 And I am not to drive away the believers. 114 I am naught but a plain warner. 115 They said, 'If thou givest not over, Noah, thou shalt assuredly be one of the stoned.' 116 He said: My Lord! Surely my people give me the lie! 117 Judge among us and save me and the believers with me". 118 We saved him and those who were with him in the laden ship, 119 then afterwards We drowned the rest. 120 Verily herein is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
