Incontestable (Al-Haaqqah)
52 verses, revealed in Mecca after Kingship (Al-Mulk) before The Heights (Al-Ma'aarej)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ The Indubitable! 1 and what is the Resurrection Verifier? 2 And what can make you know what is the Inevitable Reality? 3 The Thamud and the Ad denied the (possibility of a) sudden calamity, calling it false. 4 As for Thamud, they were destroyed by the awful cry! 5 and the Ad were destroyed by a furiously raging wind-storm 6 He made it rage against them seven nights and eight days in succession: so that thou couldst see the (whole) people lying prostrate in its (path), as they had been roots of hollow palm-trees tumbled down! 7 Beholdest thou any of them remaining? 8 Pharoah and those before him and the inhabitants of the overthrown cities persistently committed grave sins. 9 They did not follow the Messenger of their Lord, and so He seized them with a severe grip. 10 Lo, when the waters rose, We bore you in the running ship 11 so that We might make it a reminder for you and so that attentive ears might retain it. 12 When a single blow is blown on the Horn, 13 And the earth and the mountains will be lifted up and crushed with a single crush. 14 On that Day will come what is to come. 15 and the sky will be rent asunder - for, frail will it have become on that Day; 16 and the angels [will appear] at its ends, and above them, eight will bear aloft on that Day the throne of thy Sustainer's almightiness… 17 You will then be set before Him, and not one of you will remain unexposed. 18 Now as for him whose record shall be placed in his right hand, he will exclaim: "Come you all!" Read this my record! 19 Indeed, I was certain that I would be meeting my account." 20 They will have a pleasant life 21 In a Garden lofty. 22 The Fruits whereof (will hang in bunches) low and near. 23 Eat and drink with benefit for that which ye sent on beforehand in days past. 24 But whosoever gets his ledger in his left hand, will say: "Would that I were never given my ledger, 25 and neither known this my account! 26 Oh! Would that the death that came to me in the world had made an end of me! 27 My wealth has been of no use to me. 28 my authority is gone from me.' 29 [Thereupon the command will go forth:] "Lay hold of him, and shackle him, 30 Roast him in Hell, 31 “Then bind him inside a chain which is seventy arm-lengths.” 32 He did not believe in Allah, the Great, 33 nor were they concerned with feeding the destitute. 34 therefore he today has not here one loyal friend, 35 Nor any food except from the discharge of wounds; 36 that none excepting the sinners eat.' 37

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
