The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
CONSIDER the bright morning hours, 1 and by the night when it covers, 2 your Lord has not forsaken you, nor is He displeased with you, 3 And indeed the latter is better for you than the former. 4 Verily your Lord will soon give you so amply that you will be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan, and shelter thee? 6 Did He not find you a wanderer so He guided you? 7 Did He not find you in want, and make you free from want? 8 So do not oppress the orphan, 9 and do not reject the beggars 10 But tell of the favors of your Lord! 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
