The people of Noah gave the lie to the Messengers. 105 span class="col">Their brother Noah asked them, "Why do you not fear God? 106 I have been sent as a trusted messenger to you. 107 So fear Allah and obey me. 108 I seek of you no reward for this: my reward is with none except the Lord of the Universe. 109 “Therefore fear Allah, and obey me.” 110 ۞ They said: shall We believe in thee when the meanest follow thee? 111 He said: "And what do I know as to what they do? 112 Lo! their reckoning is my Lord's concern, if ye but knew; 113 And I am not to drive away the believers. 114 I am naught but a plain warner. 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will, certainly, be stoned to death." 116 He prayed: "O Lord, verily my people accuse me of lies. 117 Therefore judge You between me and them, and save me and those of the believers who are with me." 118 So We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 Then We drowned the rest thereafter. 120 In this there is evidence (of the truth) but most of them do not have any faith. 121 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 122
