▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ I do not need to swear by the setting of the stars 75 And this surely is great evidence if you can understand -- 76 That (this) is indeed an honourable recital (the Noble Quran). 77 In a book that is protected 78 None shall touch it save the purified ones. 79 Sent down by the Lord Of The Creation. 80 Then is it to this statement that you are indifferent 81 And to give (it) the lie you make your means of subsistence. 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat of the dying 83 And you wait for the moment (of death), 84 But We are nearer to him than ye, and yet see not,- 85 Then why, if you are not indebted (to Us for life), 86 Bring it back, if you should be truthful? 87 Then, if he be of those brought nigh the Throne, 88 then happiness and delight and Gardens of Bliss are his. 89 and if he is of those who are on the Right, 90 Then peace to you from those on the right hand. 91 And if he is from the deniers, the astray, – 92 He shall have an entertainment of boiling water, 93 and a roasting in Hell. 94 Surely this is the truth of certainty. 95 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Supreme. 96
