Al-Imraan 20 of 20
Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of the night and the day are signs for those of understanding. 190 who remember God, standing and sitting and on their sides, and reflect upon the creation of the heavens and the earth: 'Our Lord, Thou hast not created this for vanity. Glory be to Thee! Guard us against the chastisement of the Fire. 191 “O our Lord! You have indeed given disgrace to whomever You put in the fire (of hell); and the unjust do not have any supporters.” 192 Our Lord, we have heard the caller calling to belief, "Believe in your Lord!" So we believe. Our Lord, forgive us our sins and acquit us of our evil deeds, and take us to You in death with the righteous. 193 Our Lord, give us what Thou hast promised us by Thy Messengers, and abase us not on the Day of Resurrection; Thou wilt not fail the tryst.' 194 So their Lord accepted their prayer: That I will not waste the work of a worker among you, whether male or female, the one of you being from the other; they, therefore, who fled and were turned out of their homes and persecuted in My way and who fought and were slain, I will most certainly cover their evil deeds, and I will most certainly make them enter gardens beneath which rivers flow; a reward from Allah, and with Allah is yet better reward. 195 Do not be deceived by the actions of those who deny the truth in the land: 196 Their gains are only a means of enjoyment in this life. However, their destination is hell, the terrible dwelling. 197 But those who fear their Lord - for them shall be gardens underneath which rivers flow, therein dwelling forever -- a hospitality God Himself offers; and that which is with God is better for the pious. 198 And behold, among the followers of earlier revelation there are indeed such as [truly] believe in God, and in that which has been bestowed from on high upon you as well as in that which has been bestowed upon them. Standing in awe of God, they do not barter away God's messages for a trifling gain. They shall have their reward with their Sustainer - for, behold, God is swift in reckoning! 199 O you who have believed, persevere and endure and remain stationed and fear Allah that you may be successful. 200
True are the words of God the Almighty.
