Thamood, too, belied Our warnings. 23 and said, 'What, shall we follow a mortal, one out of ourselves? Then indeed we should be in error and insanity! 24 "Is it that the Reminder is sent to him [Prophet Salih (Saleh)] alone from among us? Nay, he is an insolent liar!" 25 They will know tomorrow who is the insolent liar. 26 for We are [going to] send the she-camel as a trial for them, so watch them and be patient. 27 Tell them that each one of them has the right to have a certain share of water". 28 But they called their companion who took hold of her and hamstrung her. 29 So how awesome were My chastisement and My warnings! 30 Then We sent a single blast against them and they became like dry stubble which has been trampled upon. 31 Now We have made the Koran easy for Remembrance. Is there any that will remember? 32 The people of Lout (Lot) belied the warnings. 33 Indeed, We sent upon them a storm of stones, except the family of Lot - We saved them before dawn 34 through Our Mercy. So it is that We recompense the thankful. 35 He had warned them of Our might, but they passed over the warnings. 36 And they tried to persuade him regarding his guests – We therefore blinded their eyes, “So taste My punishment, and My warnings.” 37 And verily, an abiding torment seized them early in the morning. 38 "Then taste you My Torment and My Warnings." 39 We have made the Koran an easy Remembrance, is there any that will remember! 40
